While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its threshold was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

The floorboards were filthy, and a pungent odor of decaying beverages and neglected washrooms polluted the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of excrement , decay and illness . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and litter that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The lavatory was in even worse condition — backed up, with a cracked flush mechanism and walls stained in what I can only assume was fecal matter .

Going through other patrons’ reviews and speaking with locals , it seems that the standard of sanitation (or lack thereof) at this bar is a long-standing issue . Many guests have reported spotting critters darting across the bar area and evidence of rodent infestations in the adjoining rooms.
